We haven’t been here long but we have been getting out a bit. We visited the Wyoming State Museum, which is very eclectic and free! It is way better in person too! The web pics don’t do it justice. They have something for everyone from dinosaur bones to old railroad memorabilia.

We also absolutely love the Paul Smith Children’s Village at Lion’s Park. They have a stream to play in and a “secret garden.” And lots of Waldorf type exploratory learning. Richie would like for me to take him everyday after school.

There are trains everywhere! Even at the park…

And I work in and old building downtown called the Majestic…it has an original Otis elevator…with an elevator operator…they know all the history of the building and most of the gossip! Richie went with me to clean my office one Saturday and the elevator operator was off work…we climbed 15 flights of stairs. But he loved looking at the Union Pacific Railroad from my office window.

And I try and make the kids take pictures with the boots in town for Grandma every week!
